Financial report from NBRF was submitted for the BCOA review. Discussion of expenses incurred by NBRF in 1998 resulted in several board suggestions for reducing expenses: 1. Discontinue the 888 telephone number as this expense of $2501.00 would be reduce the expenses, and 2. Foster reimbursements/vet expenses of $9,188.75 for individual refunds, travel, hotels, rentals, and vet expenses are also extremely high when you add an additional $1338.85 of vets bills to this amount the BCOA recommends that paid services should be more volunteer labor and less paid labor.
